UNDERLYING PREDICTION

Do-Si-Do, Dosado, Dos a Dos by O:JA&L staff creative

We hold a Municipal Ball to see who will dance with whom. Husbands with wives, fathers with daughters, mothers with sons. When that ritual is done, we begin to collect knowledge. Do neighbors dance with neighbors, or do they opt for someone they have passed two or three times in the hardware store? Or do strangers adopt strangers, acquaintances made or missed? The band varies its style and citizens note what music collects what sort of fellow citizen on the floor. Wives dance with other women to chastise husbands. How long can we keep this up? The night is burdensome.
