STEADY WORK

Mythic Row by O:JA&L staff creative

I spend the day sequencing the ducks. By ducks I mean geese and swans and anything with wings that floats. It is my endeavor, done by my work rules. The important thing is that by the next morning, the ducks have re-sequenced themselves. I am no longer in command of the order. I select a bench lakeside different from the bench I used the day before. The ducks and geese mingle unaware, gathering most near the usual denizens offering stale bread. I start again. Tomorrow, I will have to restart the sequencing. A meaningless job is no less a job.
