About the writer:
HEIKKI HUOTARI attended a one-room country school and spent summers on a forest-fire lookout tower. Since retiring from academia/mathematics he has published poems in numerous literary journals, including The Florida Review and Pleiades, and in seven collections. Collections published in 2024 are Scaffold and Mirage and Acceleration Due To Gravity.
