Btwn Antony & Cleopatra we build our cider
with adroit negotiator at noon
at the squirming hump bfr Octavia, who is
handling her ribs alone among colonies of ants, termites,
. bees, snakes, etc, are abundant,
& where one can easily prescribe the clouds with tension
. of false flowers,
& where around the corner a gentle benefactor walks slowly
to the grocery store for only children’s materials,
Octavius shows courage in this adoptive adversity.
The mess of raw flesh & the black screaming tear off,
. swarmed greedily over the sulking,
. . filling with deadly anger,
we show some kind of madness
& approach our bare skin slowly in the alien dark like rubber cork in the Mediterranean Sea.
Antony & Cleopatra hurry in dying while Octavius waits for
outside in pains
~Alexandria, Egypt
