LOGLINE: A girl from New Zealand looks to strangers in her laundromat to soothe her, but instead Kit Harrington and Keira Knightley make an appearance!
SYNOPSIS: KIWIFRUIT turns up to her local laundromat feeling overwhelmed by the city, with pockets full of letters addressed to her apartment’s old tenant. After googling how to work the machine, a conversation strikes up between herself and two chatty New Yorkers. They give her their NYC tips, charm their way past her icy gates, and share some good ol’ jokes and banter with the neighborhood newbie. They help her navigate her thoughts, and when she leaves (suddenly and with a suden gusto)- they are left sitting with their own. What they do next might have something to do with KIWIFRUIT’s penchant for writing things into existence.
