A career sailor, LIEUTENANT KALIREYNA STREEBY, USN, is a Mine Warfare Tactics Instructor currently attached to LCS 22, USS Kansas City. This piece was written when she was Fire Control PO1 aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser CG 60, USS Normandy on station in the Persian Gulf.
