This six-week workshop will focus on sound and structure in a poem, emphasizing the line as the basic syntactical unit. Each session will begin with the reading of a brief poem by a major poet that demonstrates sound, form, or lineation, and how they add to the poem’s meaning and impact. Then we will consider those (and other) craft elements in your own poems.

Refunds. A 100% refund will be issued upon email cancellation of enrollment by April 14. Between April 14 and April 29, an 80% refund will be issued upon email cancellation. After the first workshop and before the second workshop, a 60% refund will be issued upon email cancellation. After the second workshop, no refunds will be issued. Email for cancellation is lucas.t274@gmail.com.
