This six-week workshop will focus on beginnings and endings to lyrical-narrative, free-verse, and prose poems. Although, formal poems are allowed, more benefit will be derived from submitting poems with free-verse and organic forms than formal poems that have prescribed opening and closing lines. Each session will begin with the reading of a poem by a major poet that demonstrates strong opening and/or closing lines. Then we will consider the openings and closings in your own poems, as well as other craft elements.

Click HERE to reserve your spot. You may pay via PayPal or scroll down to pay with a major credit card. The software will show you purchasing a subscription, but it is actually a one-time payment for the six weeks of workshops. Also, there will be nothing shipped, even though the software asks if you want the “product” shipped to billing address.

Refunds: A 100% refund will be issued upon email cancellation of enrollment by July 1. Between July 1 and July 15, an 80% refund will be issued upon email cancellation. After the first workshop and before the second workshop, a 60% refund will be issued upon email cancellation. After the second workshop, no refunds will be issued. Email for cancellation is lucas.t274@gmail.com.
