About the writer:
BEN EGERTON is the author of two poetry collections, the most recent of which is The Seed Drill (Kelsay, 2023). He lives in New Zealand, where he teaches at Victoria University of Wellington. Ben is also Associate Fellow at the Rivendell Center for Theology and the Arts at Yale University. Ben is particularly interested in pursuing poetry projects which intersect with music and visual art. He is currently working on a long-term project with New York artist Christianna Soumakis.

About OULIPO: OULIPO (Ouvroir de littérature potentielle [French] or “workshop of potential literature”) seeks playfully to associate the disciplines of mathematics and poetry. French mathematician Francois de Lionnais and writer Raymond Queneau established the framework and first formulas of OULIPO in 1960. In practice, poems are created within a formula or a set of structural limits based in mathematics.
