Ocean City

“Untitled” from the Demons and Creations Series by Pantea Rahmani

Ocean City is about a group of college guys goin’ down the shore to Ocean City, New Jersey to tend bar at Bayshores in 1966. The film is full of rock-n-roll, sex, romance, comedy, partying, fights, the beach, the ocean, rape and murder– the whole nine-yards. We meet Ray Bass (a pedophile) from Baltimore, Maryland, who is in Ocean City to sprinkle his dead mothers ashes in the Atlantic Ocean. The other guys don’t know he is a pedophile; they just think he is odd. That summer Ray convinces Connie (a school teacher) and her seven-year-old daughter Sandy to move in with him. On a moonlit night, he rapes and murders Sandy. What a summer!
